The house is a mix of log and masonry construction while the apartment itself is mainly brick. We are located perhaps 500 meters from Matka canyon on a sloping property bordered by the river with majestic cliffs on the other side.
The house is about 11 Ks from the center of Skopje.
We DO have one parking space on premises and several on road. Since we have two homestays as well as the self contained flat, the carport is a first come/first served basis. Road parking at the house is safe.
The space
The apartment is open plan. Outside are fruit trees, walnut trees, hammocks and facilities for campfire or barbecue.
Guest access
The apartment is fully self contained. Guests will be given a key to the door as well as to the gate to the river.
Other things to note
Above Matka dam kayaks are available to rent. There are walking trails and also boat trips up to an above ground cave. Many places nearby are suitable for rock climbing and fishing.
Please note that Macedonian law requires all foreign guests to police register. We do this with you after arrival.
