Summary: A group of 10, x2 families stayed with children from 7-12. The property is a good size and set in a very peaceful woodland area. Unfortunately the building is very tired and could benefit from some updating. The biggest issue for all adults (from 36 years - 73 years of age), was the uncomfortableness of the beds. We dreaded going to bed and would have to take a paracetamol to help us sleep, they really need replacing! The drains are also quite smelly but that is likely for more properties near Sintra. The host communicated really well and the location is ideal next to the mountains and 10 minutes to beaches so it was a shame the comfort of the house let’s this property down.The pool was also dirty for the first few days as it had not been cleaned and the filter was broken. As it was old, the children did not want to play in it so that wasn’t worth booking for.
