The ground floor (accessed via three small steps) comprises a kitchen/dining room, a living room with sofas, armchairs, a TV, and Wi-Fi internet access, a bedroom with a double bed (140x190 cm) and an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, and a separate WC. On the first floor, three bedrooms each have a double bed (140x190 cm), and a fourth bedroom has a queen-size bed (130x190 cm) and a single bed (90 cm). There is also a shower room with a shower cubicle, a double vanity, and a WC. The house is heated by a communal wood chip heating system. The 150 m² garden is not fenced and is bordered by a hedge. A 30 m² terrace with garden furniture and a griddle is also available. Private parking is provided. Heating, electricity, and linens are included. Towels €8/person/change. Sheets €15/bed/change. End-of-stay cleaning €150. Ideally located between Sarlat, a medieval town with exceptional heritage, and Montignac, home to the Lascaux 4 International Centre for Cave Art, you will be halfway between the Vézère Valley and its prehistoric sites (caves around Les Eyzies-de-Tayac, the capital of Prehistory) and the Dordogne Valley and its castles (Beynac, Castelnaud, Les Milandes, etc.); it is the ideal starting point for discovering all the treasures of the Périgord Noir. You can walk to the village via a small gravel path to enjoy the shops, tennis court, and multi-sports field. The village of St Geniès was featured on the French television program "Des racines et des ailes" (Roots and Wings) on February 14, 2018. It is an authentic Périgord village renowned for its buildings made of golden stone and its slate roofs.
