Positive: Philippe is a great host. Communication with him regarding the arrival was smooth. He will personaly greet you and give you a nice tour of his property. Then he will provide you with excellent recommendations about nearby restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. He will also give you great hiking tips and suggestions. The property is nicely located in the part of island which is not as touristy as Funchal and its surroudings. The view from the balcony of my house was amazing. House was nice and equipped with everything I needed for my stay. I higly recommend this place if you search for a nice and quiet base on your trip.
