Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property is right on the beach. There is beautiful vegetation all around the property. I guess the question is: what are one's expectations? On Crete, we've seen better-quality properties at the same price range. The rooms are very clean. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating.

Negative: The property needs additional investment. The rooms look old and dated. The bathroom curtain looked like it badly needed replacement. It was hard to take a shower without touching it. The towels were very old. Same for bathroom fixtures. The outdoor shower was rusted. While there are plenty of different kitchen appliances, they also look very old. The beds need replacement as well. Depending on the room, there could be a bunch of stairs that one needs to traverse, which can be challenging for older folks with heavy luggage. The area around the place is not very attractive. There are a bunch of empty lots or some properties that look like they were under construction for a long while.

Summary: I would not stay here again
