A beautiful one bedroom two storey house with garden in the picturesque village of Ano Vathi, Samos
The house which is set over two storeys has thick stone walls which make it cool in summer and easily heated in winter. It is one of the few properties in the village which has a garden. This provides a private area for sunbathing or barbequing and is planted with lemon and mandarin trees which offer welcome shade from the summer sun.
Entering the house through the courtyard, the upstairs has a comfortable lounge, modern fitted kitchen and dining area. It has an open fireplace with wood burning stove which heats the house in winter. In the summer the cross ventilation from the dual aspect shuttered windows ensures that the room doesn't get too hot.
The downstairs offers an extremely spacious bedroom with ample wardrobe space. The room is large enough to accommodate two people in the double bed and another single person on the additional fold-up bed.
The entire house and garden are for use by our guests
If you have any problems with the house during your stay then please call, text or messenger us. We have a local lady who cleans and manages the property for us so we can call upon her to visit the property if needs be.
Our house is in the quiet and traditional area of Vathi up hill from Samos Town
We would recommend a car but if you don’t drive the buses are reliable and a good way of seeing the island.
The buses leave from the main bus terminal approximately 10 minutes walk away in the centre of Samos Town.
There is a car park at the Giannaki Theatre which is a short stroll from the house. From here the road narrows to the width of one car but is not one way. You can proceed further towards the house and park in the small parking area to the front of the house.
The bathroom to the house is situated off the bedroom so anyone using the bathroom must pass through the bedroom to gain access.
