Positive: We were here in early June 2023, newly converted and we were their 2nd guests. Very good, no its excellent, accommodation. Coming here is getting away from the tourist scene of beaches and crowds. The kitchen dining living room was easy to work in, the bedroom very comfortable. WiFi, power points, table very workable. Could easily be accommodation could spend a week in. The owner is next door and very helpful. Could easily be used as a base to explore areas within a 20 or 30km or more range. Went to a local restaurant ( cafe Flor do Paraiso) just down the road for probably our best home cooked Portuguese meal of the trip. The cafe is local enough that its not even on Google.

Negative: Need to have your own transport to get here, parking a car is either along the street a couple of minutes walk away or in back on hard to find tiny lane at least the first time, both were safe. The area is hilly, it is in the mountains, and steps down to the property. Not a dislike at all but what one visits for in a small village.
